MY STORY
We don’t always realize how much we’re carrying.
Sometimes it looks like holding everything together for everyone else.
Sometimes it’s the pressure to be fine, capable, strong.
And sometimes it’s simply the exhaustion of living in a world that asks more of our nervous systems than they were designed to hold.
There have been seasons of my life that have asked for resilience than I knew I had — marked by caretaking, upheaval, responsibility, and the quiet courage of beginning again.
During those seasons, I found that I relied on my mind to carry the load — to predict, protect, and problem-solve.
Until there came a point when my mind ran out of capacity, and my body began speaking louder through exhaustion, tension, and overwhelm.
Healing didn’t come from thinking harder.
It came from learning how to breathe again,
how to listen inward, how to feel safe in my own body.
When mind, body, breath, and nervous system stopped competing and began collaborating, something opened.
It felt like a widening of sky.
